SafeHaven Fire was built to solve a problem no single contractor in Central Oregon was solving: combining licensed general contractor home hardening with professional defensible space and insurance-grade documentation, all from one company.

Built by Someone Who Understands the Stakes

My name is Zachary Price. I'm the founder and owner of SafeHaven Fire — a licensed Oregon general contractor, NFPA Firewise trained, and Central Oregon's certified BrandGuard® installer.

I built SafeHaven because homeowners across Deschutes County were getting non-renewal notices from their insurance carriers, or facing enforcement under Bend's flammable vegetation code, with nowhere to turn. Not because the work couldn't be done — but because no single contractor was set up to do all of it properly.

Brush clearing companies aren't licensed for structural work. General contractors don't specialize in fire science. And almost no one was producing the documentation insurance companies actually need to act.

SafeHaven was built to be that company.
