Vents are the number one way wildfire embers enter and destroy homes. We close that gap with code-compliant, ember-resistant retrofits, installed to four published wildfire standards.
Embers, not flames, destroy most homes lost to wildfire. They travel up to five miles ahead of a fire and find the openings most homeowners overlook: foundation vents, crawlspace vents, and soffit vents. An unscreened vent is an open door. Closing it is the single highest-impact, lowest-cost step you can take to protect your home.

Cleans the cavity while we are in there.
No change to the look of your home's exterior. Lowest profile available.
The most durable protection we offer.
Meets the same Chapter 7A ember-screening standard.
Quick install, minimal disruption.
Discounts available for multiple homes, HOAs, or when combined with other services.
A key overhead ember-entry point most installers skip.
Price varies by the vent cover selected and vent size.
When we are already on site for a defensible space project, gutter guard install, or full home assessment, there is no separate trip charge. That means we can pass real savings straight to you.
Add vents to any larger service and save up to 20% per vent.
Doing your whole neighborhood? Multi-home and HOA pricing brings the per-vent rate down for everyone enrolled.
The more you protect at once, the less each piece costs.
Every retrofit follows four published wildfire standards: IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home, NFPA 1140, NIST Technical Note 2205, and California Building Code Chapter 7A, the same vent standard Oregon adopts under R327, effective in Bend on May 15, 2026.
Each vent gets a three-step install:
We remove debris and any loose or old screening so the new screen seats correctly and the seal bonds. NIST 2205 requires vents be kept clear.
A noncombustible, corrosion-resistant metal mesh that meets the Chapter 7A screening requirement. We install from multiple trusted wildfire-rated product lines and match the right one to your home.
This is the step most do-it-yourself installs skip. A screen with no seal leaves the perimeter open, which is exactly the gap embers exploit. We fire-caulk every screen. It is slower, and it is required to meet standard.
Every home receives before-and-after photo documentation of each vent, formatted for your insurance records. You hold proof the work was completed to standard, which matters at renewal time.

Most companies can clear brush. Hardening your home to code is a different job, and it is the one we specialize in.
